ERP Senior System Analyst






Role Objective

To provide and implement effective solutions to automate the ERP business processes for the finance, procurement, and HR departments so that enhancing the operations efficiency of these business units. 

Main Responsibilities 

  • Analyze the business requirements in order to provide the suitable ERP solutions for the concerned business units. 
  • Analyze the ERP operations processes so that the area of improvement will be Identified and planned to be automated. 
  • Transform of business requirements into clear functional /non functional specifications (Design mapping) in the application implementation methodology (AIM) formats in order to prepare the setup document or providing directions to the ERP development team in case of customization. 
  • Provide customized solutions for the business requirements integrated with the Oracle E-business suite platform in order to increase the ROI of the applications. 
  • Manage the business requirements within the agreed cost and schedule in order to achieve business users’ satisfaction. 
  • Raise any issues or risks might be encountered during the project to the direct manager to take the corrective action so that the requirements will be fulfilled on time 
  • Develop the testing Scenarios (test script) and Conduct User Acceptance Test (UAT) so that the solution will meet the business users’ expectations. 
  • Prepare the technical documents and conduct handover session(s) that are required by the ERP support team to perform successful and smooth deployment of the new projects or changes. 
  • Act as a second level support for the implemented ERP solutions and applications to ensure ERP operations’ continuity. 
  • Manage the IT business cycle of the required changes on the ERP platform so that changes will be successfully implemented without affecting the running operations. 

Qualifications and Experience 

  • Essential Qualifications and Experience 
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer science, financial accounting, or IT related degree. 
  • Minimum 6 years in related experience 
  • (Area of experience) 
  • Oracle E-business suite implementations 
  • Oracle SQL,PL/SQL – Form / reports builder – Workflow builder 
  • Business & System analysis 
  • Strong knowledge in Oracle Forms, Reports, Workflow, Discoverer, API, Interfaces, Alerts and personalization 
  • Strong knowledge in Oracle OAF 
  • Very Good profile in handling ERP development projects 
  • Excellent Computer skills. 
  • Very Good in Arabic & English (Reading, Writing & Oral). 

Desirable Qualifications and Experience 

  • Advanced Project Management. 
  • Telecom ERP Industry experience 
  • OAF Oracle Frame Work. 
  • AIM Oracle Application Implementation Methodology is desirable. 
  • Microsoft Project Plan. 
  • Microsoft Office Visio. 

Basic Accounting knowledge 


Special trainings / Credentials / Memberships/ Licenses 

Essential: 

E-Business suite core modules (financials, logistics, or HR tracks) 

Desirable: 

OCP oracle certificated professional 
Oracle development tool training 

Accounting for non accountants.
