PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To monitor, organize and provide HSE training to staff (QAPCO & Contractors) to enhance the HSE competencies. And to improve the HSE procedures to ensure compliance with the HSE rules and regulations.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- To organize and monitor all activities related to the staff HSE training (QAPCO & Contractor) on the QAPCO facility
- To provide HSE training courses for Operations staff (QAPCO & Contractors) to comply with all the HSE competency requirements for assignment to each position
- To assess and enhance HSE competencies;
- To develop and provide supports regarding HSE training.
- To organise staff (QAPCO & Contractor) HSE internal audits with actions plan and submit audit reports to the QAPCO management
- To improve the HSE procedures to achieve a well understanding and application by the staff
- To ensure compliance on the field with HSE rules and regulations by QAPCO staff and contractors.
- To assist department/division in ensuring the constant improvement of staff HSE performance
- To ensure with the commitment from other managers that the HSE training courses in the training plan are completed and updating a training plan follow-up table
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum Qualifications:
- B.Sc. in Safety and Firefighting or equivalent.
- HSE related certification (e.g., OHST, ASP, CSP, NEBOSH-IGC )
- Good interpersonal & communication skills (written and oral), organisational ability and computer literacy.
Minimum Experience:
- 10 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry in a position dealing with operation management.
- Experience in auditing HSE performance at oil & gas facilities.
